On the 2018 Christmas livestream, Pavel had confirmed that all the base map rework would come for free.

Has there been any further news on this? I would love to see the UK redone with more cities, villages, more content in Wales and Scotland abd of course including Ireland.
Re: Poll: how do you want the UK to be rebuilt/revisited?
Nope no news as of yet. However, there we may have UK rebuilt next year as I think, Germany revisting will be finished this year.

Why would there be any news? We haven't even had Germany phase 3 yet.

if pavel said whole old map will be rebuild, it matter nothing. i remember they teased some bus sim but nothing happen
Re: Poll: how do you want the UK to be rebuilt/revisited?
Well every year they have been giving us more of Germany revisting. From the map they released, it seems like Germany revisiting can be finished in one go. However, we do not know if they will be able to do so this year.
Also, UK seems to be the next map that needs to be revisited after Germany, then I think they will do Austria, being part of GTS.

Nothing happen except the inclusion of some new bus models in AI since then, traces in the save games about data and mechanics related to buses/coaches, the apparition of bus stops and touristic points depiction on the map and not just in cities (more frequent in every newer DLC) and so on and on. It's a side project done by very few people and even so, there are clear advances on it for those who wanna look at details. It will arrive when it will have enough content to made it a worthy purchase.
Re: Poll: how do you want the UK to be rebuilt/revisited?
If I remember correctly they had to pull the rebuild team to help finish Road to the Black sea last year, and this year Iberia is an even larger project, plus there is the coronavirus situation, so I think the chances to get the rest of Germany rebuilt this year are unfortunately slim.
But SCS might have an ace up their sleeve, we never know, so fingers crossed.
