Have been a satisfied owner of the 4C for about 7 months now.

These are my current settings for the 1.37 version of the games, from what I understand version 1.38 has presets, haven't tested them (yet).

General note about my settings, Prefer head tracking over gaze tracking, so the latter is set to low/slow settings.
Still prefer my head tracking to stop at the end of the side windows, so settings prevent me from going too far and
suddenly looking behind me or outside when I don't want to :-)

Monitor: 27" 16:9
Distance between my head and Tobii is about the max advised.

Extended View: On
Head Track Mode: Direct
Auto-Centre: Off
Enable Position (experimental): Off (not tried in 1.37 or higher)
Enable Roll (experimental): Off (not tried in 1.37 or higher)

Gaze View Responsiveness: 19%
Gaze Tracking Speed: 0.8
Gaze Exponent: 3.40
Gaze Inflection Point: 0.36
Gaze Start Point: 0.00
Gaze End Point: 0.25
Maximal Gaze Angle: 10 degrees

Head View Responsiveness: 100%
Head Tracking Ratio: 10
Head Tracking Exponent: 2.34
Head Tracking Inflection Point: 0.54
Head Tracking Start Point: 0
Head Tracking End Point: 1.00
Yaw Multiplier (in cabin): 1.48
Pitch Multiplier (in walk mode_: 0.30 (still recommend this set to 0 when setting the Tobii 4c up for the first time.)

Auto-Pause: Disabled
Gaze absence threshold: Disabled

Reset Head (Head tracking): Don't need it
Pause Extended View (experimental): Don't need it

Open Eye Tracking settings: set a better key combo on my Simdashboard :-)

Btw, in 1.38 they have introduced Tobii presets, quite useful :-)

Hello,

Thanks Underscore_101_ for mentionning the preset. There are a cool addition.

I think we can use the setting which make profile associate with a preset to have different configuration, one for the road, one for manoeuvre, don't know yet for the third, maybe to look left and rigth at intersection by example.

And the preset given by 'Tobii' are really nice and smooth, it's a pleasure to use the tobii eye 4c. Definetly I don't regard to have one.

Quote removed - Don't quote the post above - Rule 2.12

Hello,

@Lt_Karnage Which one is your favorite preset, of course if you are using it?

I turned off my eye tracking all together because my eyes where just all over the place so I have it setup to just to track my head movements

I’ve only had the Tobii 5 for about a week so I think I’m happy with these settings

Hey everyone.
I'm experiencing an issue with the head tracking when using Tobii 4C. Out of the blue, only the gaze is working. I did try to clean uninstall/install the latest driver but didn't help.
I've also tried with different settings in the game but not making any progress. It doesn't matter what setting I have it's just not working.
I didn't change any cables, move ports, hardware, etc.
Unfortunately, this is the only game where I'm using Tobii so I'm not sure how to properly test the head responsiveness outside ATS.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Don't know if this will help you, but i'm currently running a beta version of the software for the 4c and it works wonders, a lot better than the old software.

maybe it will solve the issue, though i have no basis to underline if it will :-)
but i guess it's worth a try.

Personal disclaimer, i'm using a slightly older beta than that, not updating atm because it works just fine :-)

Thank you for your replay @Underscore_101_
I'm having only core software ATM. Definitely will try the beta.
