Next ETS2 truck speculation
Re: Next ETS2 truck speculation
Iveco S-Way is the most likely to appear first, but then again could be MAN TGX 2020 or another truck. With Russia being expanded upon there might be a Russian manufacturer appearing though. Would be fun if SCS managed to get that working somehow.

More than "somehow", I would guess it could be probably easier, @De_Ruyter.
After all, major companies don't need neither the money or the visibility that SCS could offer. But smaller companies could be way more open minded and welcome that kind of deals.
Whatever, what's sure is that Pavel already stated time ago he desires to add more companies beyond the big 7.
Regards

Well I'd love to see other companies appearing, I don't think you will hear anyone say different. It's just more likely that existing companies will want to fight over their space on ETS2.
I would love to see names as SISU and Kamaz appearing. I however don't think Ford will be added as only Turkey uses those trucks technically speaking (not counting in the very rare exceptions). Isuzu does sell in the EU, but the Isuzu Giga isn't being sold in the EU so far I'm aware (if they do, please do tell!). There are obviously other names that should be added, but likely won't make it unless SCS is trying to surprise us (which I'm perfectly happy with)
Aside from the newer trucks, I would love to see older trucks being added as well. There are enough fans for old trucks, so why not try to cater to that?

But SISU does not produce truck tractors anymore, also like czech Tatra. These are mainly dump trucks and timber trucks.

On the contrary, Ford is selling in more countries and that includes Spain since a few years ago. And I can tell you I can see lots (for such company with so small market share) F-Max on the road going to the rest of Europe. There's no day I did a 100km highway trip (the usuals I do if I need to take highway) that I don't cross 2 or more of those.

Interesting, thanks for adding this. Some newbie driver wrote: ↑04 Oct 2021 20:26On the contrary, Ford is selling in more countries and that includes Spain since a few years ago. With tandems/rigids appearing in the near future for the game, I'm sure there will be new options also for those companies.AntonioMart wrote: ↑04 Oct 2021 19:47 But SISU does not produce truck tractors anymore, also like czech Tatra. These are mainly dump trucks and timber trucks.

nothing will come in the near future, and SISU is a special equipment manufacturer, they dont build trucks off the shelf but for the special needs of customers for the Finland environment

Re: Next ETS2 truck speculation
I think MAN TGX The Efficient Line 3 is currently the truck that needs to be added the most in European Truck Simulator 2. Refer to this article https://blog.scssoft.com/2019/02/ats-an ... e-134.html
Hopefully in the future America Truck Simulator will add these trucks: Freightliner 122SD/Century/Columbia/FLD/Cascadia/Coronado, Kenworth T800/T880/W990,Volvo VNX740, International HX520/ ProStar, and MACK Pinnacle, MACK Titan.
