Foton Auman EST is a truck produced and sold in China by a joint venture between China Foton Motor Corporation and Daimler Corporation. At present, the interior and instrumentation of this truck are still the layout of the old Atros
Hopefully in the future America Truck Simulator will add these trucks: Freightliner 122SD/Century/Columbia/FLD/Cascadia/Coronado, Kenworth T800/T880/W990,Volvo VNX740, International HX520/ ProStar, and MACK Pinnacle, MACK Titan.

Foton it's a Chinese company (more strictly, a joint venture with a foreign company). If so, it means Daimler can't own Foton; the Chinese partner will always have at least 50% +1 votes on the board of that joint venture. That's how China government force business to be done in their country.

I wish to see an 8th brand in the game next year. We have Ford, Kamaz and BMC. Kamaz would be a nice addition as HoR is also in the horizon.

In other news,

They seem to have no idea 😶

Don't worry. I was just pointing out that before somebody else that could not catch it start to speculate too big.

@parasaurolophus67 It´s not similar, it´s same because daimler own cascadia and i think also mack, and of course, also mercedes, so it seems that licensing process with Daimler it´Good. Of course it´s not 100%, but it´s hint at all from my POV.
Edit: about mack I am probably wrong, but i don’t remember other brand which is owned by daimler and is already in ATS in nearly past.

Yeah, but on the other hand, they are hinting a lot that SCS should have the new MAN released, so I guess it's just a matter of time. Guess the new TGX may be the next truck after all. Fingers crossed. I would love to finally see a MAN truck that doesn't look boring. Don't get me wrong, I like the TGX, but the Euro 5 and 6 ones look rather... meh... (at least without a ton of tuning)
The smallest details always make the biggest difference.

Shouldn't be a licensing issue i guess. MAN throws out licenses to pretty much every simulator game which has trucks, busses etc. :?

You get a license! And you get a license!

@Polarlicht haha so true, I suspect one day they gonna license their trucks to some irrelevant "simulator" game for example Hamburger Simulator lol
and that photo in twitter belongs to a former vtc I used to be in.
