Re: ETS2 1.39 Speculation Thread
Here is something to think about while waiting ETS2 1.39.
How possible could it be that we can have that new Viewpoint feature when the ETS2 1.39 EB / OB starts, or do we need to wait for Iberia before we can experience it in ETS2?

Oh now i see! Still would be cool to see a special transport AI truck on a narrow road coming towards you
Haven't even thought of quick job trucks, last time i used those was like 5 years ago

@Wacky Geek they added viewpoints to places where they were not before in ATS 1.39; so the same could be applied to ETS2 1.39 and later more will arrive with Iberia.
And if I had to bet, one viewpoint could come with the reworked Calais port we were announced

ATS OB 1.38 was a week earlier than ETS2 ,ATS 1.38 OB was on June 19th while ETS2 was on June 26th, so maybe this Friday we'll get ETS2 EB?

I say today or tomorrow
There are naive questions, tedious questions, ill-phrased questions, questions put after inadequate self-criticism. But every question is a cry to understand the world. There is no such thing as a dumb question.

I'd also say today or tomorrow. There's nothing much that's common for both the games, as of now, except for the launchpad. So they could roll out the beta soon.
Plus the pandemic has already delayed things to a greater extent, so the timeline should also stay in track. The earlier the beta is released, earlier it could go public.

Expect a new truck this year and the reskinned game of Calais including the Main menu. I was honestly expecting more, after looking at ATS's change log I guess all we have left to expect is bug fixes and possibly views points(Iberia).
