I have a CPU from 2013 and a graphics card that I renewed in 2016 ... I play at 1440p, maximum graphic details, hundreds of mods and scale 400% ... and stable 60fps.
Without Mods, vanilla game, I exceed 120fps, it is true that when I bought the computer I mounted high-end components, currently I still play most games with high quality and above 60fps.
I do not want to create a debate, but perhaps it is that you have computers that are not intended for games, perhaps you have to choose better what components the computer has when you buy it, it is true that ETS2 has an old graphics engine and can improve optimization, bu step by step...
The new graphics options are not mandatory! they can adjust it in the options and even disable them!
ETS2 has some recommended requirements, if your PC is below it, you have to adapt to the power of your computer, reduce graphics or not use Mods, the game requirements do not include Mods.
Yes, perhaps I am saying very obvious things, but I do not agree with some criticism about the new options graphics...
In the forum, users ask for a lot of graphic improvements but when SCS tries to bet on new things, there are always criticisms.
DX11 = OH no! some textures unsupported Mods, I will not update the game or stop playing, updating to DX11 was not a good idea!
FMOD = the sound mods are not working, I will stop playing or update the game, we want the old system back!
Graphics improvements = My old computer gets less fps if I activate this new option, I'm going to complain to the SCS forum ...
Excuse me friends, when SCS tries to advance I only hear criticism, ETS2 can get better performance and i am sure that more corrections and improvements will come in the future, but if your computer is old or is not intended for games, you have to adapt to it.
PS: And please don't compare ETS2 with games like GTA etc ... SCS is far, they don't have a budget of many millions of dollars that have studios like Electronic Arts, Rockstar etc.
