Which area in ETS2 should be reworked next ?

I voted UK simply because already know it would be the next on the list since they are doing it in age order.

Austria-Switzerland should be the next, because their location in the map, but as it seems there is mountain allergy in ETS2, probably the next area will be Benelux.

If next map rework was Austria they could not rework Calais in the level that they do it.
Next rework clearly is UK

Calais has no baring on what other area they might work in. It's also worth pointing out that the French city reworks we have been getting in the last few updates were not done by SCS directly but by Mandelsoft in his free time.

Actually no.

UKTS released the month after GTS, and Austria was added 5 months after UKTS.

- From a practical standpoint, the UK BADLY needs a rework. Think about how many people on YouTube try out ETS2 for the first time and they always go for London or some other part of the UK. From a marketing standpoint, the UK rework should come with the Ireland DLC. That way you can market both things at the same time and create hype. But I cannot vote UK until the Ireland DLC is confirmed.

- From a personal standpoint, I would like Eastern Europe to be reworked, since that is where I spend most of my time. Going from RttBS to BtBS can be very tedious due to the drop in quality. But I cannot vote for it, since it's a very biased approach and we need to be more practical.

I agree with you on both. I spend most of my time in Eastern Europe and with the next DLC being Russia Eastern Europe would be the best choice. UK i only drive through if i have promods installed.

Also in Southern Germany there is signs pointing out to inaccessible cities in Switzerland and Austria eg Basel (Switzerland) and also Bregenz in Austria. Which may be a possible indication of reworks to be conducted in that area next but not sure if those cities will be included in the rework.

Speaking of Austria reworks if the rumours are true could that mean we might see a Western Balkans DLC after Heart of Russia as Austria is the gateway of that region?
