Re: Which area should be reworked ?
It has something to do with the next-in-lined Western Balkans DLC in which Alpine Regions (which includes Austria and Switzerland) due for a major reskin.
It has begin to pattern slowly, with Austria being the first to reskin, followed by Switzerland. Also, we're patiently waiting what Vienna will look like, if reskinned.
Once Austria gets reskinned, there will also have road connections to Slovenia (although it is a 100℅ inaccessible until these road connections revealed as hidden roads in preparation for the next-in-lined Western Balkans DLC.) Villach, Klagenfurt and Graz have these connections, in A10 and A11 (continuous, towards Ljubljana), Highway 91 (towards E652 in SLO) and E59 (towards Maribor, Slovenia), respectively.
And we know that some Italian expressways are reskinned since 1.30, in line with the release of Italia DLC. However, the core cities of Italian base (Turin, Verona and Venice) will have a benefit for a reskin in the near future (possibly after the revamps of Austria and Switzerland), since the connection of WB is close, with Trieste as an additional city in Italy to the game (if necessary).

Re: Which area should be reworked ?
Is there a possibility that with the reworking of Austria or Switzerland we will get Liechtenstein?

Re: Which area should be reworked ?
There is space for Vaduz/Liechtenstein, but Vaduz isn't an important logistics or industry hub. An inclusion of Bregenz, Dornbirn or St. Gallen in Switzerland would make more sense considering their importance for trucking.
Re: Which area should be reworked ?
I'd add a small town in Valais. I assume this region is not that important for cargo transport (although Sion has an airport, though it's probably mostly for tourists) but think of the views! With current scale, it wouldn't hurt to pull A9 to the south, then northeast through the valley, switch to road 19 and connect it with A2 more or less where it meets A13. Perfectest scenic route.
Since we probably won't ever get to see the most popular summits...
Yes I love Alps, have you noticed?

Re: Which area should be reworked ?
However, these places mentioned are identified as 'scenic routes' since St. Gallen sits on Swiss Expressway 1 (but I like the suggestion to add, since there are many historical sites and the beautiful look of the Lake Constance and Mt. Santis, which belongs to the Alpine Group of Mountains.) and Bregenz sits near Germany-Austria borders (transition of German Expressway 96 and Austrian Expressway 14). St. Gallen is 86 km from the Swiss capital. No word on other places whether if it fits the map on a 1:19 scale or not.niklkanikl wrote: ↑27 Nov 2021 11:35 An inclusion of Bregenz, Dornbirn or St. Gallen in Switzerland would make more sense considering their importance for trucking.

I suspect that they might be not accessible, but I could be wrong.

Re: Which area should be reworked ?
yes, or at least Vaduz as scenery town.
at the moment some houses in the north are visible, and like the old parts of the game, barely resamble the real location.

Re: Which area should be reworked ?
I'm on the case don't worry!
Updated, now with pictures embedded. Graz looks awesome, and it doesn't bother me that we're not getting it in 1.43. I'd much rather have the rework be as good as can be and come in a later update.

Re: Which area should be reworked ?
It would be nice if we could see some of the Valais, but mountain areas are always hard. Sion would be a good scenery town even seen from afar due to its two castles on the hills. That current ingame minor road that goes from Bern to Torino seems to follow Swiss roads 11, 9 and 21, and should technically cross through the Valais, but since it's part of the base map the scenery isn't very accurate to real life. The only stretch that it's somewhat similar to reality is the Great St Bernard Tunnel.Aziz wrote: ↑27 Nov 2021 13:49 I'd add a small town in Valais.
