Which area in ETS2 should be reworked next ?

They should rework the accession states to the DLC maps, Hungary, Poland, Austria, and I do not take into account the argument that the Going East DLC is newer, because the same assets were used in the ETS2 and Going East base maps and the same quality, so we can easily get some reworked with these states (Poland, Hungary) from Going East

DLC will be reworked when the basemap is done, not earlier, it doesnt matter that it uses basemap models because then every DLC should be reworked before because all use some basemap prefabs

I think it's more about those problematic assets, that indeed do not exist in later DLCs. T junctions that leave only one lane to continue straight, those accident-prone intersections with very narrow entrances, gas stations with virtually no exit/entry lanes on motorways etc.
But then it's the same story with UK. On the other hand, UK doesn't suffer so much from lack of density.
We can throw arguments at each other forever and even longer, that ain't gonna change much anyway.

Last Pavel words on the subject were no DLC would be touched before all base map would be reworked if ever those reworks continue. Until SCS themselves prove those words incorrect (so, that they had changed their mind); expect that's what's exactly going to happen.

I'm tipping that 1.12. we will get a blog about the reworking of Austria, if you have noticed I tip this blog every (next) month (always the first, because on August 1 a blog called Guess Where We Are) has been published since October and my tip still doesn't work

@Ceco The Austria reskin kinda seems more like a 1.44 thing to me honestly, but hey I could be wrong.

The final phase of the Germany reskin released with 1.40 in March of this year, so that's why I wouldn't be surprised if the Austria reskin comes in 1.44 hopefully around Q1 next year.

I'd say Northern Germany needs way more work. Elbtunnel area, for instance, looks like crap.

J.Random that's what I said. that I would rather pay to get quality territory. like for the new GoingEast2 DLC or for the UK,Irland DLC.
to get new and old roads and cities. with better elaboration and detail.
but many do not want to pay and want to get it for free. only then they will again complain that the reskin has not reached the same quality as paid DLC. interesting why)
and I repeat, no one should and will not support the old and the new, both. the old territory is simply removed permanently from the game.forever.

No idea what you're talking about. If you mean "full Germany rework as paid DLC"... I'd say no. I'm already on a fence regarding any future purchases as it is (even though I own all DLC for both games) because of lack of improvement on the code side of both games. DLC should have paid for game mechanics' improvements as well, but apparently they didn't.

Hamburg is better than what is was pre-rebuild the goal of rebuild originally to get rid of suicide exits from prefabs made 10 or more years ago. Hamburg is port city, so it step above what was made in original German Truck Simulator.
