ETS2 1.39 Discussion
Re: ETS2 1.39 Discussion
So... did anyone notice that little piece of undiscovered road near Burgas that isn't connected to anything? It wasn't there previously. Does that mean someone is working on including that road
Re: ETS2 1.39 Discussion
jackalnxt, I think that might have been a missclick by a map editor, marking it as shown, by mistake?

I don't know about that, but it's weird that there isn't so much of hidden roads from France to Iberia (Spain) in 1.39.
I remember that Black and Baltic Sea had a some good "presentation of hidden roads" in update just before release of DLC.

I too agree that there will be no Iberia with 1.39 update...

@Shiva I thought something similar as well. But then again, why would they need to click on that road in the first place? I did notice that the signs pointing to Karnobat were fixed so... Maybe I'm looking a to deep into this but makes me wonder...

for calais this corresponds to realitydbddimov wrote: ↑04 Nov 2020 01:55 One of the trailers parked at the ferry terminal in Calais broke through the wire fence. The trailer is green and can be seen getting off the ferry. I also don't know why they didn't make a road connection to the ferry from the other end of the town of Calais. To board the ferry when leaving Calais, the only option is to take the roundabout. if you exit the other exit of Calais there is no way to the Ferry which is a strange decision. in the future it will be good to upgrade the train terminal for the Channel Tunnel together with the one in Dover as well as the Ferry in Dover.

At first I too thought this connection was inaccurate, because of its sparse signage and "missing" road markings. But Google Earth and Streetview shows SCS practically copied the location:

Re: ETS2 1.39 Discussion
It's not the first time new roads are added way after a DLC release (and I'm not talking of new DLC linking or isolated places like Mediterranean islands). Several of you people that live IRL on RttBS zone have said several times you miss important places. And we know they were in scheduling problems with RttBS near the release time. It's a possibility, of course, just a possibility, SCS end adding some extra content they could not end in time for the initial DLC release. SCS could use it too as the new place where to train new mappers as the islands were in past year.

It surprises me SCS to be at version 1.39 and they still haven't created a more realistic chart on ETS2 nights.

Game doesn't have moon (don't remember why they put it of); but do have stars.
