I noticed the natural light is pretty dimmed when you drive from cockpit view. When you look up thru the roof window and look down, it's much better. For a few seconds at least..... And than it's all dimmed down again.

Wouldn't it be time to introduce border controls to Great Britain at ferries and tunnels?

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but for those of you who are experiencing heavy FPS drops; try turning off traffic headlights and/or secondary vehicle light in your graphics options.

For me, having both these options turned on meant I had to drop down from 4x to MSAA 2x and SGSSAA 2x in NPI in order to maintain 60 FPS which meant going back to shimmer city. With both options turned off I can again maintain 60 FPS while at 4x MSAA and SGSSAA.

I'll give it a try but it does sound pretty 'muh immersiun' breaking. I find it hard to believe this issue with fps tanking on red light stops is unsolvable since it doesn't seem to be pushing the GPU, nor CPU at all. I experience similar drops when passing stationary police cars/fire trucks, which explodes the reflections with different colors. It just doesn't seem to be using the available computing power.

It is, it’s milking that single thread for all its worth.

Yeah the secondary vehicle lights cause a lot of performance loss whether it's day or nighttime. Probably because of the magic and calculations running in the background. No doubt it increases the immersion a lot, but it definitely isn't meant for weaker machines.

orizon wrote: 21 Feb 2021 17:10 It's common in Romania. It's a long debate about that and it seems our regulation recommends to signal on the left when you are in a roundabaout.
You are supposed to signal left if you're going to use the 3rd or 4th exit. If you go to the right using the first exist or straight ahead using the 2nd exit, you only have to signal right when leaving the roundabout. That's what the law dictates. Reason behind this is to let the guy who wants to enter the roundabout know what you're going to do.

Most driving schools have their own interpretations of the law which is unfortunate, that's why the whole debate. But the law is actually pretty clear and simple.
