ETS2 1.40 discussion
Re: ETS2 1.40 discussion
I love the way these taglifts work in the game.

Love the new lighting in 1.40, but imagine my disappointment when I realized the Nucleon trailers still don't glow in the dark.

Is there any chance to made the map to show bright yellow roads also when you pick an order ? Because when you choose an order, it's hard to see new roads and already made.

Talking about whishes, it would be great that, when changing route – like when adding a waypoint or during a detour - the ttaveled red route did not stop to be shown. While instead it ceases to exists entirely. You simply lose knowledge of where you have traveled.
I guess it is not possible to do so, but still… it would be useful.

I think it happens when a new route is calculated, the route is shown from where the recalculation happened

IVECO HiWay damage during sharper turns
Now that the HiWay light bug is gone I decided to buy one and drive a few miles. But the HiWay got damage during a bit sharper turns in cities and on exits of a clover leaf crossing on highways for example. (I forced it once and ended up with 9% damage just between Kassel and Hannover ) It's an unmodded profile and I don't drive the truck different than I do others (which don't get that damage). Consequence: HiWay sold; end of trial..
Has anyone experienced this, too?

Re: ETS2 1.40 discussion
Hey guys can anyone help me i am running 100 scaling and i was woundering if 100 scaling on reflaction is more logical then 200 due to my scaling?
Re: ETS2 1.40 discussion
@Houssem Manssouri I think it does not matter, as long as the performance drop because of the 200% reflection scaling is good to you; I am running at 100% resolution scaling because of the nvidia antialiasing thing, but I have 200% reflection scaling with no problems, it looks better than 100% reflection scaling and there is not a heavily noticeable performance drop (at least on my PC). Just try and see how it goes
physics.scs --> "bristle_stiffness_longitudinal_factor: 5.0" for throttle/brake responsiveness

Re: ETS2 1.40 discussion
Thank you for the hint to try 20% reflection scaling

Re: ETS2 1.40 discussion
I see no visual difference between 100 and 200% reflection scalling...
