It has nothing to do with the size. It's a question than rebuilt aren't meant to be ways to add content (just to fix what is old and poorly made due its age). And specially, rebuilt aren't meant to add new content located thousands of kilometers away from the zone that is being worked on.

I'm a bit conflicted on the UK rebuild, I really don't know how good a germany style rebuild would end up. I feel like a lot of the rebuilt German cities are kinda meh because they just got a light re-skinning.

I'd be pretty disappointed if London just got a minor re-skin, especially after getting used to Promods version. Which even that I feel like they shouldn'tve bothered with most of the central parts, because most trucks aren't going to waste hours trekking through the centre unless unloading there which again isn't that common. But overall the bits they've touched I feel like they've nailed the feel of UK roads. I feel like SCS need to come up with so many new assets also compared to the Germany rebuild.

This has been my concern as well. However, in a recent interview Pavel acknowledged that they didn't rework the German cities "yet" and so they sort of remain there as an "internal debt". This gives me hope that they want to eventually go back and properly redo the German cities. Perhaps they'll even approach further reworks differently. We'll have to see how the Austria rework goes first.

I mean to be fair you spend most of the time on the highways and they've done a fine job of that, at least to my eye but then again I've not spent much time on German roads. At least there is some promise maybe that the cities might get a bit of a revamp.

Just making a slight observation on the ETS2 map, I opened the game today, and spotted that the Ireland bit of the map is now shaded dark. If I remember rightly before that it was a lighter shade?

I could be wrong in thinking this though, has anyone else noticed this?

@IvanKuz they didnt rework all cities, but Dresden, Kassel, Nurnberg and it think one or two more got a complete revamp iirc.
