The UK interiors feature the shorter dashboard, which here (in France) is usually for the smaller needs, like construction or regional delivery (driver doesn't need the extra space).

Renault T is a very special truck, because it has different design for RHD interior then LHD. We wanted to delivery most accurate experience of real-life driving possible, so RHD interior was created representing its real-life reference. Even though there is no pull-out drink holder, there is an integrated drink holder for bottle of water to use :)

Anyway, what is your favorite part of new renault T Evolution?

I like the headlights the most, followed closely after the phone holder.

Phone holder is nice touch to interior, and it would be great if every truck would have something like that... Look from outside is overall beautiful... Only really downside of that truck is its dashboard with that gray symbols and numbers, but that is on Renault itself...

Could it be the internal layout on RHD (not so suited for very long haul) is done thinking that, due Brexit, UK trucks are going to reduce their long trips across EU?

What does dashboard length have to do with long haul anyway?

A shorter dash gives better visibility out the windshield and lets the driver see things that are close the front of the truck. I don't know what that has to do with the distance the truck drives though. Better visibility is always a bonus, no matter how far you drive.
