Re: ETS2 1.41 Speculation Thread
What we need in 1.41 is some icon on the dashboard that flashes when u have Ur beacons switched on. They also need to make it so u have the option of a reverse camera for some of the trucks. And they need to look in to seeing if they can sort the deliveries so u can deliver to two different places in one long drive.

Re: ETS2 1.41 Speculation Thread
I mostly just hope 1.41 can give me back some of the FPS that 1.40 stole from me, as I play in 5760x1080 and my FPS absolutely cratered when I loaded the game back up again with 1.40 and the Iberia DLC, despite driving an unmodded SCS truck. I had to turn scaling off and drop from Ultra to Medium and I'm *still* only getting 12 FPS on occasion. Doing the "Cruising Iberia" event was painful, because I know the scenery is probably beautiful, but I can't see it because it's either outside of my draw distance, or a complete slideshow. (and then there's the whole deal with what's going on at night, as highway lights behave as if they turn on when I approach.)

Introduction of the tachograph and its operation (inserting the card, changing the operating mode) and the actual working time, i.e. 4.5 hours driving, 45 minutes break, 4.5 hours driving, 11 hours break, etc. With options to choose real time of work, old (actual) time of work, no work time.

Are you using an AMD graphics adapter? Some users had to go back to an older driver version because of problems like this.Winchester1979 wrote: ↑09 May 2021 02:36 I mostly just hope 1.41 can give me back some of the FPS that 1.40 stole from me

@Cyrus Ramsey No, I'm using an Nvidia GTX 1080. I've been trying various setting tweaks to see if I can get the FPS up higher, but even after I turned off SSAO completely, I still had a section of my short drive through Lisbon where my FPS dropped to 13...

With a RTX 2060, there were many occasions where my laptop showed problems running on ultra while streaming on FHD (inconsistent FPS, often running on 50s or 40s, overheating, overloading the codec and sometimes even turning itself off due to excessive temperatures), the same setup i used before 1.40. After i changed graphics settings to high, all of those problems disappeared and framerate, while streaming, is constant 60FPS both for game and stream.

Re: ETS2 1.41 Speculation Thread
If you did not already, you should download Intel XTU (or ThrottleStop) and downvolt your CPU, or if you have Ryzen then Ryzen Master... In most cases, in laptops, CPU and GPU share same heatpipe/s so if one goes hot, another goes too... BUt laptops are really not designed for that heavy load, and even on best of them (I mean on cooling solution), you will have throttle issues when you stream and play at same time...

Now I'm waiting for Goodyear 315/80 rear tires and trailer tires.
Re: ETS2 1.41 Speculation Thread
Trailer tyres may happen eventually, I guess. 315/80 drives - really doubt it. They have enough "can't hook up to the trailer" bug reports for big Michelins. 315/80 Goodyear drives will just add to it.

It's something it will have to wait till the day they change all the hookup system: adjustable air suspension, proper height for parked trailers, no trailers "sinking" once hooked... all those things.
