Type of Trailer and Cargo

I saw a similar thread over on the ATS side and it got me thinking/curious regarding ETS2.

In ETS2 I noticed that the Curtainsider (Krone Profi Liner) and the Dry Freighter (Krone Dry Liner) both haul "general and dry goods."

I did a little test and both types of trailer haul pretty much the same thing in game; is that is the case in real life as well?

Just curious as I'm not from Europe - thank you in advance!

same in reallife.. also with flamables or toxic cargo.. only difference is that a curtainslider can be used to unload from the side.. unless you also pick the dry freighter with the side doors.. witch i havent seen that much in reallife as most companies use a curtainslider because its cheap and lightweight so they can load heavier cargos
