I hope the companies realize that this is an easy and cheap promotion, like DAF and Renault did. To be honest, the companies should stand in line to get their vehicles into a game like this.

The problem about rumours is that they aren't based on fact. Until SCS announces it, it's only speculation. And yes sometimes even rumours do get it right, but that still doesn't mean that the person actually knew anything beforehand.

In this case increasing from 8 to 16 would be a reasonable stepping stone if they've made some significant improvements in the way convoy works.

SCS isn't going to make such a big increase in players that fast. Yes, of course in the future we can have up to 16 players, but I believe they will do this little by little. I would say that at 1.42 they can increase to 10 players.

Well if I was the SCS people working on Convoy what I would be looking at is:

1. How many rooms actually get 8 players regularly.
2. How they seem to be performing as individual rooms and server wide.
3. I'd also be keeping a watchful eye on those rooms with the hacked larger rooms because it's good info too.

Then I'd be making the choice of whether updating the numbers globally right now is the best idea. To me I feel it might be better to wait until after mods are supported before upping the numbers. There's a few reasons I would wait, there is the possibility of more usage once mods work, plus however they plan to deal with the mods between users in a room.

Me I'd be waiting, but doing a half way jump to 12 isn't out of the question. Not sure I'd want to double the numbers off the bat though seems a bit risky until mods are supported, wouldn't want to end up back at 8 after having a larger room number.

I dont understand why SCSsoftware created MP Convoy for when trucksmp been around for years and more people play on their one instead of SCSsoftware mp.

No bus simulator 21 has 30 different buses not manufacturers

TruckersMP is a waste of time for most sane players

Right, how many different trucks can we choose from in ETS2 and ATS combined?
I haven't tried to count them but I'd assume it's a bit more than 30

We're still getting this - my friend and I both have strong trucks and the SCS lowboy, and can pull heavy loads on our own, but still get this error in a convoy when we try to take the other's job. Even if only 15t. We are using Trucksbook.

Multiplayer doesn't accept ANY modification to the base game. No mods, no plugins... NOTHING at all. Remove and check; if the problem persist, open a bug report to see if somebody can help with it.
