Guys, has anyone noticed that the handling of the truck is vastly reduced when its raining? breaking distance is also increased by a lot.
I've never noticed reduced handling in my truck in all my 5 years on the road. Even in pretty heavy rain the truck handles normally in real life, at least a loaded one, as its weight is more than enough to push the water out from bellow the tires.
This should be fixed IMO.

The handling has been affected by rain for quite some time now, I think it was introduced in 1.38 or something, before 1.40 at least
Braking and turning is affected almost to the extreme

@dahaka are you noticing that with high worn out tires? Over 75% tire degradation (in case you ant to play, changing them "realistically") the worsening on handling is noticeable, specially on wet.
Also happened that several tire mods were wrongly adapted to the changes plykkegaard explained and when the change was made all people using those mods suffered from the worst degradation behavior. So in case you use mods, check that out oo.
Regards

@Some newbie driver No i got no mods at all that would affect the tires.
Funny enough, I did an experiment a couple updates back, let the tires get worn out to about 60%, and noticed no difference in handling. I usually do a full service on the entire truck after each trip, cause im driving with initial D music, so you know, theres always some damage. So no, its not mods, nor is it worn out tires. Brand new tires and the truck handles a LOT worse in the rain. And to make things worse, its not even a 40 ton truck. 5 axle semi low loader and 4 axle truck plus the locomotive, making it like 90 tons. You would need centimeters deep water to make that kind of vehicle combination handle worse in rain.....
