the XG is not only higher its also has 33cm longer cabin, its not anymore confusing than when scania presented their S series. Its a brand new model, and a bigger brother of XF, that is pretty clear.xXCARL1992Xx wrote: ↑19 Jun 2021 14:20 XG and XG+ are more or less just XFs with a bigger cab, especially XG and XG+ is no difference other then cab hight, DAF more or less shot their own knee with this splitting and it will cause confusion
Yes, of course. I meant "wrong for me", meaning "something that I cannot undestand why, but I don't like". Something, so not too much clear even for me, like if it was out of place. Perhaps too long a cab. I dunno. Some newbie driver wrote: ↑18 Jun 2021 22:37 There's nothing wrong, nothing needs to be wrong to like or dislike something.
Simple: There are new length regulations for truck cabins in the EU since 2020-09-01. Type approvals for new, aerodynamically enhanced truck models allow a cab that is up to 90 cm longer (if I remember correctly) than the current 2,35 m EU cabins. DAF is the first manufacturer taking advantage of the new regulations.Cyrus Ramsey wrote: ↑20 Jun 2021 15:32So how did they make the cabin longer without exceeding the maximum truck length allowed in Europe?
