Scaling & Performance Question

Pretty sure that setting scaling above 400 doesn't do anything. That value is just r_scale_x * r_scale_y * 100%, and iirc those are clamped at 2.

scaling above 400% can get even worse, i tried it once with 800 and the game looked more pixelated then with 100, if they didnt fix it already, everything over 400% is just placebo

Ok I change it back 400 scaling but my gpu utilization drops for 99 down to 77 and it lags plus get rubbish performance. I just brought the pc and no good at all technical issues

Utilization dropping below 99% sounds more like an issue not directly related to ets2. How are your FPS when the utilization is low? Maybe some sort of energy saving option is enabled like in Geforce experience or Intel graphics command center or whatever (happened to me once). Also, how is your CPU doing while this happens?

Energy saving might a plausible cause: New PC and little knowledge
Overheating should also be looked into (aka bad build)

Gpu utilization Is at 99 above 300 scaling both games and overwatch it's at 96 scaling and clock speed 4.20 not oc it. Maybe ets & ats can't keep up with my 3070 graphics card and brand new from currys and its hp build

I have put both games scaling too 300% with nvidia overlay on sorry for being a idiot putting at 600

im so lost with this 3070 is giving me low fps because of gpu utilization of graphic card 99 to 74 in ets 2 and ats and my 2060 gets more fps
