Re: ETS2 1.42 speculation thread
doesnt make any sense at all, from the outside it looks just like a Profiliner, there would be no meaning for it ingame

Re: ETS2 1.42 speculation thread
I don't know how common it is to see on the roads, but in the time that I've spent looking for trucks on Google Maps, I've seen lots of regular height tractors pulling a Megaliner. I don't think a low deck tractor is mandatory to pull a Megaliner. It does look weird with the trailer leaning backwards, but I guess it works.

Re: ETS2 1.42 speculation thread
driving on the left, this is the UK, one of the few countries that has no hight limit on trucks and trailers, this isnt the case in the rest of Europe, i think Scandinavia and Finland are also an exception but the rest is limited to 4m because this is the hight that will be guaranteed every bridge is at least (4.20 is the minimum i think)
this trailer is over 4m in hight and those wouldnt be allowed in many European countries and is also totally nonsense to do

Re: ETS2 1.42 speculation thread
But ETS2 is a game so they could easily add a Mega Liner, players will be happy, and Krone will have an advertisement

I wouldn't say easy, they have to talk to them first. sure they have a good relationship but doesn't mean would always go for SCS's way :I

Re: ETS2 1.42 speculation thread
1. the "advertisement" wont do much for Krone, people who buy trailers wont look at the game to buy it
2. if it is so "easy" SCS would have already made their own "Megaliner" but they didnt because
3. the trucks needed for it dont exist in the game and i doubt SCS wants to negotiate lowdeck chassis that are only made for 1 sort of trailers

Who agrees on adding service on some fuel stops (not small filling stations but large ones)...

Re: ETS2 1.42 speculation thread
We would have gotten taller trailers if the Cartwright DLC had happened since most of their trailers were large double decks. But the company went into administration.
We already have a 4.6m tall trailer, the livestock trailer is based on a UK model from Plowman Bros.

Re: ETS2 1.42 speculation thread
France and Italy had of those, a pity SCS didn't continue adding that option into the available cargoes (but no need to be accompanied with another hellish achievement like the one for VLF). Also it seems that german fuel stations are defined to be destination for fuel haul jobs; but they are disabled so far. I expected they will be activated once last Germany rework phase was released, but didn't happen.
