Unlikely. Number plates don't generally get updated because it would be too much work for them to keep on top of it yearly, or twice yearly in the UKs case.

Re: ETS2 1.42 speculation thread
Looking into it they have actually changed it from GB to UK for the blue bar on the left.
There's no legal requirement to remove the stars, in fact in the UK you can have anything in that blue bar, it's not a legal thing. Useful to have an official one if you travel abroad so you don't have to use the magnets/stickers, some people have the badge of their soccer teams on it.

i dont think you are allowed to have the 12 stars if you are not an EU member, Norway and Turkey also have the blue bar but not the stars

Not exactly true - you can't legally have just anything, though I guess they don't really enforce it https://www.gov.uk/displaying-number-pl ... dentifiers
Re: ETS2 1.42 speculation thread
Norway and Turkey is a bit different case, they've never been in EU. UK was, and, at least, for several years they won't force anyone to remove stars from plates. They can introduce new plates with UK flag and no stars, but it will be replaced over years as cars will be re-registered.xXCARL1992Xx wrote: ↑26 Jul 2021 16:14 i dont think you are allowed to have the 12 stars if you are not an EU member, Norway and Turkey also have the blue bar but not the stars

Re: ETS2 1.42 speculation thread
this is what i meant, no new licensplates with the starts, also in UK the cars keep the licensplate for live, dont think there will ever be a re-registration or you have the money for it needed

We love interacting with our community and fans. Sometimes we reply, share their content, chat with them, invite them to a convoy session, support their content creator career, or similar. We just trying to be nice and friendly with people who inspire us and love our games. But that actually really doesn't mean that we immediately share unrevealed news or info.harishw8r wrote: ↑25 Jul 2021 06:31 Oh FFS please stop this already. Just because they interact doesn’t mean they share info that they are not supposed to. Like I do occasionally comment on the tweets of some devs, they do reply, does that mean they share things with me? No, that's NOT how it works EOC
There doesn't have to be a hidden message or secret connections in everything we do

Even my experiments with Portuguese plates failed because i would need a def9[] field to reproduce all current variations properly, and fields on license_plates.sii files accept only up to def5[].

Re: ETS2 1.42 speculation thread
Seeing the last blog post about Wyoming DLC for ATS, and finding the new Livestock trailer, I think SCS will rework the old one from ETS2 and make it ownable, adding more tuning options or even more trailers.
