Max replied to me that he saw some picture of the game where there were 1019 mods it's a horror.

Everything will be okay in the end, and if it`s not okay, it`s not the end.

Re: ETS2 1.42 discussion thread
The new FFB is better at low speed (centering), but I feel like something is wrong with the high speed centering.
I can wiggle my wheel (T300RS - 1080°) 45 degrees left and right when going 90kph+ with almost no resistance. As if the FFB only started after 45° of wheel rotation pretty much. Is this how it's supposed to be IRL?
I've tried maxxing out everything and min/maxing in the thrustmaster profiler as well, but I couldn't fix this. If someone has an idea...

@Space_Night G29 user here: can confirm that with the new default settings the near center behavior is strange. My wheel has a large deadzone even though the deadzone settings are all set to 0 (slider all the way to the left).
The funny thing is: in the Controls page where you setup the wheel it does work correctly!. The wheel is nice and heavy and does return to the center position if you test the steering axis. But in game it does not and keeps hanging at around the 25 degree angle if I take a corner and let go of the wheel. Reducing the friction setting seems to help.
I have no idea how the new force feedback is programmed but it is as if they do calculations with a 0 degree caster setting: https://www.tirebuyer.com/education/how ... ct-driving. A positive caster setting would in real life help the steering to return to center.

Is it just me or does reset button not working in ffb settings ?
Re: ETS2 1.42 discussion thread
The G29 FFB deadzone in the center is really bad, when you're reversing at low speeds and turn the wheel left and right the sudden loss of FFB (due to the deadzone) really feels awful.

Re: ETS2 1.42 discussion thread
i noticed that it drops into centre with a notable clunk, though I have yet to alter the settings. (still using 1.41 settings)

@Stephen Butler, I'm assuming you're not aware of the Steam beta branches? They are there for exactly this purpose. (well, probably other purposes, too)

A few hours after the release of 1.42, there are already so many complaints about the poor performance of FFB on Logitech wheels ... Anyone else want to say that everything is fine? .. We need more fake accounts that will convince us that everything is fine!
