I have to say that I love this new force feedback. Now I feel like drinking a truck.. I have an issue with some twitching in the center but I guess that's just cause my wheel is old gen.. Logitech driving force gt.. That only uses one motor for force feedback

my g920 now is lighter then before. In high speeds the wheel stay very lighters, the truck now can roll over more easily... Didn't like it.

"I don't like the new FFB, how do I get my old FFB back?

Since the old centering was a simple spring effect, you can always center on low speed, center on high speed and set internal friction to zero and enable spring centering in your wheel's hardware profile settings. That will give you a similar FFB sensation as in older game releases."

My current settings:
5 (five)% centering spring force
Overall gain 50%
Centering at low speed 50%
Centering at high speed 50%
Internal friction 75% (never lower than 50% to avoid undesirable jerky behaviour )
Engine resonance 0-20%

When I saw your settings, I first thought a very unconventional way :)
But since my G27 was much too easy with the SCS standard settings, and the steering wheel don´t turnt back after turning it, and I wasn't satisfied with my changes so far, I tried yours :)

For me I have now changed the gain to 0.9 and increased the friction to 1.3, plus your values and now the steering wheel is really good, turns easily, but not as easily as SCS standard, also turns back, and has only a little dead center, which I do rather prefer :)

thx for sharing your settings!

I think the settings depend on the wheel(base). It would be good to also share the make and model of the wheel(base) with your proposed settings ;)
System specs: Ryzen 5800X3D, RTX3080 (no OC), Varjo Aero (using OpenXR through OpenComposite instead of SteamVR), 32 GB DDR3200, Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2 TB, Win10. And most importantly: vanilla game, no mods.

The best way to find that personal 'right spot' to enjoy the improved FFB is to carefully tune within the controls.sii file (instead of the in-game menu sliders); something like 0.000005 can make a lot of diference on the "constant c_ff_hi_spd" and "constant c_ff_lo_spd" settings particularly - at least in my case with my old wheel.
