With a country so big and stretched east-west like yours; I suppose that no single time zone is going to make everybody happy no matter which one. I can already notice those big sunlight changes in Spain when I travel east-west, and Spain has like 1/3 of the east-west size that Turkey has.
On the other hand, I can understand the weirdness of being put on a time zone it doesn't match the Sun. We share the same than most Europe even being lots of km to the west. And then they came to our country to say why the hell we go to sleep so late.
And luckily for Turkey, you don't have to bear there the stupid mess of the daylight savings.
