Actually after living without daylight savings showed people that daylight savings is actually required. Calculation showed it actually "Saves energy consumption" as it raised really high after the change. Also physcological wise, kids were starting school (or adults to work) at dark and return at dark, effected people a lot. Old system at least morning was "light". Because of also time zone changes of UTC+3 (that's currently equals to most east of the country) and not where majority lives (west end)

Can't argue about that because I've lived with daylight saving since born; but I can see all the mess it causes everywhere (included relevant IT systems that stubbornly after decades of daylight savings still dealt with it wrongly ). I always though that they should keep the official time just in the middle of that -+1 hour and done.

I have a couple of degrees FFB deadzone on my G27... is this the deadzone people are referring to? I can't remember if the FFB plugin fixed that, and I can't seem to get it working now to verify.

As I said before, decreasing internal friction setting was helpful for me (Thrustmaster TMX). I tried increasing overall gain and low speed centering and it seems to be better but there is still some "empty space" near the position 0.

If it's about centering force dead zone then I think this quote from the official blog is referring to it. I guess the steering wheel should stop centering before it's fully centered?
Why does it feel like the steering wheel seemingly stops for a while during centering after letting go when I’m in a turn with the truck?

This is the consequence of the vehicle's movement reacting to the fast steering and the resulting forces on the wheels at that moment. A similar phenomenon can be observed in real-life vehicles in such situations.

Well a dead zone is permanent while the wheel is in its center position. But the paragraph from the blog describes a temporary effect during quick self-re-centering where the truck (mass inertia) exerts some forces on the wheels whose trajectory points into a different direction than the truck’s. This causes a short moment of low to zero force feedback to the steering wheel. Or in other words, it feels “loose” for a second or two.

Just updated the game. In my DFGT, as before in 1.42, the FFB disappears in the center position. The "step" has not disappeared anywhere. The steering wheel is still trying to wiggle itself from side to side.
