The DLC called XF tuning pack, maybe SCS rename it to DAF tuning pack, when will add tuning details not only for the new XF, but also for XG/XG+. Although, perhaps it really will be a separate DLC with a tuning pack for the new DAF.

I feel we’ll probably have to wait a bit before we see any tuning options for the new DAF since they like to reference real tuning options, and we’ll it’s a brand new truck so their might not be a whole lot out for it yet.

2, Any news on the DAF XF 2021?

Originally it would have been released in September according to the DAF representative. However things clearly got delayed. From what I could understand, and I could have this completely wrong so please don't quote me on this, this update would be launched together with the tandem/rigid update which was hinted at as well to come in September (again delayed I guess?). From what I am guessing what we may get, this being my personal guess and nothing more then that (let's be very clear about that):

- DAF XF 2021 (probably will have 1 cabin, although I do think there might be a second cab)
- New chassis variants, which COULD include a 8x4 but that would be a guess.
- New exterior parts. This likely being a deck plate, paintable grill, paintable rear fenders, things along those lines.
- Very unlikely that there will be a new higher powered engine, but I wouldn't hold my breath. It's DAF, they are trying to make their vehicles to pollute far less then other trucks. So power is gained in other ways then upping the engine horsepower. Sad, but unfortunately it will mean we have to use mods instead.

So yeah, they are working on it but it's delayed from what i'm guessing. So we need to wait and give SCS the time they need to complete things properly.

DAF 20221 release twitch stream, DAF rep said it on stream. So if she did speak the truth we can expect something soon.

ofc she was talking about the IRL DAF, but for now DAF only has the 4x2 and 6xX as a rigid in production since beginning of October with the rest following next year

I think that in fact we will just get a new cab XF, not a separate truck, since the model in the game is simply called DAF 2021.

Also, looking at this image, we can see that the chassis length is the same. In addition, 370 and 410 hp engines are available in the game. which in reality are not installed on the XG and XG+.

seems to make most sense to pile it togehter, much like MAN TGX e5 and e6 are the same trucks with just different fronts (headlights, grill), but ingame they are seperated.

those are 2 different trucks and not the same unlike the new DAF or Scania R/S, R/Streamline or Renault T and T Evo
