I wish tyre wear was separate from the rest of the truck damage. Even if it was just a separate menu option in the garage, just make it that you get constant fines if the tyres go below the legal wear limit and make it a selectable option.

Which is one of those half-baked features SCS didn't think through. Maintenance should cost time. Like in rally games, but instead of minutes it's hours per item.

i agree with you at some point that service takes time..
it would be nice if you book or bring your truck in for a service that depending on the amount of service needed the time skips forward 1 or 2 days..
as in th real world a company would book a truck in for a service..
then they drop the truck off at the parkinglot at the garage/dealer/servicecentre and hop into another truck at your fleet untill your truck is ready, then pick it up...
but if you own only 1 truck that you have to wait out ingame time by doing a quick job and use a truck from someone else or a rental truck ( that would be nice as scania for exsample has rental trucks from the dealership) as your truck is at the garage and cant be used for jobs untill ready

or if you only have 1 truck call it prolonged weekend and skip 2 days ahead ;) i would rather do that honestly.

I service my truck whenever there is around 5-10% of damage on tyrewear or if I severely damage my truck.
