Re: ETS2 1.43 open beta discussion
I can't say other places, in Spain construction trucks (or any other construction vehicles, that could be moving on construction sites in the road) need to have beacons only in the roof of the cabin. If in some other countries there's a legal requirement to have them in other places, like in the trailer, it would be good to provide SCS the details they could had missed so they could add the necessary options.

Just curious cause ive been watching Ashville weekly on youtube and noticed that on the back of his tipper and tipper trailers right next to the taillights they have beacons.

But is that because it's the law, or have they added them on their own accord, or do one or more companies they work for require it,....
For SCS to add it it needs to be a law, or used by the majority i suppose could also be a good reason.
Anyhoo, they aren't mentioned in any trailer regulations regarding lights and reflectors that i can find.

Re: ETS2 1.43 open beta discussion
Just a clarification of what I said earlier; the need of a beacon is on a place that could be visible from all directions around the construction vehicle. It use to be on the roof of the cabin and that's enough with that to pass the law obligations. If that wasn't the case, extra beacons must be put somewhere else. For example, lots of garbage collection trucks have a cabin roof lower than the cargo zone, so they must mount a beacon on the rear part of the truck.
It also happens that extra lighting for more awareness is usual on stationary vehicles on fast-driving roads (the sooner drivers see you, the better). But I don't know if there's any specific additional obligations in beacons for those scenarios.
Again, all of this about Spain. Is perfectly possible that some countries force extra signaling. And as example, the extra beacons needed in Spain for double trailers; signaling that the game doesn't have so far.
Regards

@Some newbie driver in the Netherlands and rest of Europe that's the same I believe. With that it needs to be visible from all directions.
Over here and in most other countries I see tippers that have it. Most seen on the one's that work on the motorway. And the agricultural tippers as well. Most of these have them with high trailers or low cabins.
In Austria there are some tunnels where you need them visible on the back with ADR, tipper can also load that irl. I got fined for driving with one on the roof of my Globetrotter worked with a tanker, they allow it. But with a tank container it was a big no.
But ADR in game is wrong and not really done well in many ways, think mostly because of game limitation and sometimes weird and strange laws.
I quite like how the tippers are done. Think more options and types will come in the future.

Regarding Michelin DLC update, will older tire models (X Line Energy D2, XDE etc.) be updated?
X Multi Z 315/70 and X Multi Energy D 315/70 seem to be missing, will these models be added?

For the Michelin DLC content, new tires have been added for 2020 series. Older Michelin tires (a.k.a 2015 series) still remain.
