VR - experimental support
Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
I think this game Will always get better with time, and vr Will have some care later i guess. Anyway, Nice to know that is not m'y game who got weird thing !
Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
Now Nvidia supports DLSS2.0 in VR what are the chances it can be implemented in ETS2/ATS? Is there a game engine limitation, or DX level limitation that stops it, or is it something that's a real possibility?
To me it looks like something that'll have huge benefit for anyone in VR and an RTX series GPU.

Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
To use DLSS the game needs to be DX12 and its currently DX11
Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
@Komat Is there any chance we can get the mirror issue fixed mentioned in a few posts? In right-hand-drive trucks, the passenger side mirror is too dark and difficult to see out of, especially at night. All other mirrors are fine though.
Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
Do you know if they've fixed the rendering freeze when adjusting seat/wheel/mirrors? That used to really make me dizzy and nauseas because it's the one thing you should NEVER do for VR. Same for whent he game is in the background?
Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
They have not. It isn’t still present in any adjustment menu.

Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
Sad to hear that, that is a major comfort issue for me. Especially as I stream and might need to deal with another window/app for a moment.

I'm using ""Reset Seated Position"" button to adjust my position in cabin. )

Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
Yeah that helps, but to move the steering wheel, mirrors or just adjust the position you reset to means dealing witht he freeze. I guess the only solution is to take the headset off when doing so if possible. I hope they can find a way to freeze the world while keeping the frames coming. The game can run at various framerates so the game world is clearly not linked to framerate.
Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
It’s not the game freezing, just just going to a static pause screen where there is no head tracking. I’m sure Komat with fix it one day though.
