Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
Hi i have a skipping problem on my oculus rift only on ETS2 & ATS every 10 or 11 second's i'm driving along and the game will skip ahead a little its the only games that this happen's to. AC,PC,RRRE,DR,RF2 all work fantastic but for some reason ETS2 & ATS has this little skip.I don't know if its reprojection i don't even know if oculus users it or how to turn it off.
Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
domeno1, this probably has to do with ASW (async space warp). This kicks in when your fps drops below 88-90 en caps it to 45 fps with ASW active. I recommend you force ASW on with the Oculus debug tool (ASW on + 45 fps) to eliminate the judder. This was discussed a couple of pages back.
The debug tool is included in the Oculus software since the last two releases or so, just search inside the install directory of the Oculus software.

System specs: Ryzen 5800X3D, RTX3080 (no OC), Varjo Aero (using OpenXR through OpenComposite instead of SteamVR), 32 GB DDR3200, Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2 TB, Win10. And most importantly: vanilla game, no mods.

Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
Anybody care to share their in game Oculus settings?
I have Pcars, Assetto Corsa and elite Dangerous all looking excellent with 1.5-2.0 SS with Spacewarp turned off but ETS2 and ATS look like a blurry mess.
I have tried the usual, turn off DoF and MSAA, adjusted the buffer_scale to 1.5 then to 2.0 but the improvement is minimal.
PC Specs:
i7 7700K 4.5ghz
MSI GTX 1080 ti
32gb 3000mhz DDR4
