It is usually done a few days after the update on the regular non-VR version of the game...Patience is a virtue.

Patience is a virture, however the VR users are patient while the beta is going on, we wait patiently while non VR users are enjoying the new features. I like other VR users appreciate the work that Komat does but i'm sure would also like to be able to update to rhe latest version when it goes live..... or better yet make tbe VR support a naitive feature of ETS and ATS so that when Betas go live we can test them in VR and update with the rest of the player base.

Yes i could opt out of the Oculus beta and use the new features but anyone who has spent time playing in VR will understand playing on a monitor feels.... flat.

You are preaching to the choir my friend..... I agree 100%. I cannot play on a 2D monitor. I have all the new painted doubles from Pauly and Lucasi_ for ATS, but can't use them until the update to the VR beta.

Yeah, i'm tve same. I have some mods that i'm eager to use for both but can't until the game updates (not to mention tbe Daf DLC that tells me everytime i loaf tbe game it's not compatible😏. It'll be worth the wait i'm sure just wish it was updated along with the main game.

oculus beta for both games is now compatible with 1.28 update and in ETS2 case also with the DAF Tuning Pack DLC.

Please note that while the new desktop backgrounds work, they were not created with VR in mind so there are various glitches (camera moving you through objects, some geometry not visible from standard camera might be missing)
