@nka

The Oculus branch hasn't been updated officially to 0.7 SDK, so it "may" work, or not, depends on the system I guess.

With the 0.6.0.1 SDK it didn't work at all, but seems that some people reports 0.7 does work. In my case I'm still in 0.6 just for this game, and I have no problems.

Ahhh must be that... I tried 6.0.1 and 7.0.0.

I'll try 6.0.0, thanks!

I really love the 0.6 update. It's really unique! With asynchronous timewarp and 0.6's special rendering, I get to play the game with SweetFX lumasharpen. The game looks fantastic and it is really flawless!! I'm hoping so badly that the 0.6 sdk is here to stay until the CV1 release. There are no other games like this one. It's really unique and fantastic!!

The oculus beta was updated with version using 0.7 SDK. It seems to be compatible with 0.8 as well. The version utilizing 0.6 SDK is currently still available in oculus_06.

Thank you, Komat! Did you notice any performance differences with 0.8? Seems to be about the same as with 0.6.0.1 for me.

Thanks!

I noticed there was a 32mb update yesterday, though it maybe was for including the Halloween DLC update, but this is even better :)

OK, so now I can finally upgrade to Windows 10... I hope this 0.7 version allows for configuring the game settings with better quality, because currently I have it configured medium to low, or there was stuttering.

Thanks again for your work.

Unfortunately, I have no luck whatsoever. One time I got it to work fine, and that was few versions before the timewarp got added. I exited the game in the excitement that I finally solved my long lasting issue, but to no avail. As soon as I started it up again, judder. The framerate is terrible and I don't know what to do.

I'm on win 10, i5 3350P, gtx 970 and 8GB RAM. The same was happening on win 7.

I think I tried everything. Does anybody have any clue what might be the culprit?
Also, no matter the settings, judder is the same.
I truly love this game, but can't go to playing it on the monitor again.

Thank you guys in advance.

@lamb: To solve the judder I had to decrease the settings a lot. I used 5760x1080 (3x FullHD displays) and highest settings without problem, but with Oculus I needed to set them to medium, even low, and then play a bit with this and that (shadows, some distances, texture quality, lightning...) until I got it working. In some specific moments or areas I experience it a bit, but doesn't last long. Bad thing is that stuttering in Oculus means non-playable, unless you want to puke in the next couple minutes

And I agree, once you use this, you can't go back. I used TrackIR + 3 displays. Since I got my Oculus, 2 of them are always off, and haven't used the TrackIR again.

Good luck.
