@Komat

I was driving my Volvo FH16 and I was really happy with the new lighting but I have one issue.

Is there a way to produce a "Rain/Wiper" mask for the windshield that is curved?
Because on this truck, and I believe others, it's straight. Which is really noticible in VR due to the increased depth perception and in the rain it doesn't feel like you have a windshield but rather a fake monitor with a rain ASMR movie playing, I am sure you know what I mean.

So yeah, is there anything that can be done with curved rain/wiper masks, since modern cars and trucks all have curved windshields?

Pertinent system specs: i6700K / GTX1080 / 32GB / SSD / Oculus CV1

Not sure of current game settings, will need to gather those, but certainly not maxed out. Loads of stuff set to medium or even low, and it still stutters occasionally, especially in the newer map DLC such as France, and does not maintain 90fps (I can't play at 45fps/reprojection/ASW or I get motion sick).

Cheers for the information :)
Rift S here, cpu similar strenght to yours, but GTX1060 might be on the low end.
Still not tested ETS2 nor ATS, but maybe someday.

Guys, you can force reprojection in SteamVR - just set it to "always on". Just go to videos settings in steamvr, got to "per app" select ETS2 and force it on there.

That only works for anything that uses open vr. Oculus you have to force it a different way.

How are people selecting forced reprojection in steam vr in the Per App option, none of my Truck Sims appear in the Per App section, and can't force it without the per app settings.

It only shows per app options for ETS2 and ATS when the games are running. Otherwise steam considers them not supported.

Reverb G2 with an Nvidia 3080.
Forcing reprojection doesn't work for me...

Getting reprojection to work right is an absolute pain on the G2, it's the same for me and my 3080. Make sure you have HAGS (Hardware accelerated GPU scheduling) in Windows disabled, otherwise it won't work at all, at least for me. But even after that I can't get it to perform 100% consistent. ASW on Oculus devices works way better, unfortunately. You could also check if setting your G2 to 60hz mode could be a viable option. If you can live and adapt to the screen flickering, it's probably the best option without having to resort to reprojection at all. Good luck!
