VR - experimental support
Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
peeps,
just need to ask a questions to clear this up for myself.
I know you can press F12 to recenter the view, but that only works for me in the launchpad before i load my profile. Whn I have loaded my profile I cant recenter using this key. I've read through almost this entire thread and I get the impression like some of you can recenter the view in game, and I'm wondering how you do it?
I've read that backspace apparently works for some (?), but this does not work for me.

Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
Maybe you have bound F12 to something else in your profile?
Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
There's an option for it in the game settings under the keybinds. "Recenter head tracking" or something close to that. I've got it mapped to one of the buttons on my wheel and use it to "adjust" my seat in VR on the fly - much quicker and easier than using the menu options.erbesv wrote: ↑17 Jul 2020 12:46 peeps,

Thank you, I thought that option was just for Tobii and TrackIR so I have not even tried that. Feel a bit stupid now. Thanks anyways!

Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
I'm using an oculus rift and the brightness setting has no effect in the headset although the flat screen does change. Is that normal because the oculus seems very dark to me.
Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
That is normal. The brightness setting does not affect the head set at all.

Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
Thank You. HDR helps but is there any other way to increase the headset brightness ?
Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
I’m not really sure. I own an index, and your able to turn up the brightness through steam Vr’s video options, but I don’t think oculus gives you that option at all.

Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
Thanks again. I can live with the HDR but also, the jaggies are really bad even with 1.5 SS and the in game AA maxed. Has anyone managed to get this working in VR or have another solution -
