Well that’s good. Let me know what you see when you get a mirror on the monitor. You can do it two ways, one through euro truck itself, or one with steam. Not sure if there is much difference between either.

Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
Hmm do you have motion smoothing on, or is it set to off?

THIS
it was on, i deactivated it and now i dont have a wobbly screen anymore, thank you for the tip, hope it wont negatively impact Alyx though

Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
You may just notice a difference in frames from time to time depending on the scene. Pretty much what was happening was your game was being reprojected, but ets2 does not support it yet. You would also notice a lot of flicker on your cab as you drove.
I’m glad I could help though. I was looking at your video a few times and I paused as the video as the wiper was moving and noticed it was all chopped up, and I had a feeling it was being caused by motion smoothing.

Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
Is there a possible option in config.cfg to disable the stereoscopic rendering and render monoscopic ?
Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
So you can no longer perceive depth in VR!?
System specs: Ryzen 5800X3D, RTX3080 (no OC), Varjo Aero (using OpenXR through OpenComposite instead of SteamVR), 32 GB DDR3200, Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2 TB, Win10. And most importantly: vanilla game, no mods.

Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
Exactly, no depth in VR, but simply benefit from a 360 view with the headset.
Re: Oculus Rift - experimental support
That would be nice for watching videos and other prerecorded content, but it wouldn't work well in games with a dynamic world where the player decides where to focus on. It would be like watching a virtual screen in VR, very unnatural, unless it presented as such in the VR world. May I ask why you would want this?
