OVR advanced settings helps as it give a few more settings to play around with to improve it more. u also need to opt into the steam VR beta branch.
It can take awhile to try out all the diff settings but when u get them all optimised it can improve performance and quality.
Look for OVR advanced settings in the steam store. install it and try that out.
after u get them settings sorted out u might then have to redo the settings in the game as u might be able to turn up scaling and a few other settings.
It wont improve frame rates that much as that seems to be a prob caused by 1.41. we have to live with that till they update the VR SDK and replace the quit button with the exit button thats on the flat screen version and get the new Volvo construction equipment DLC working in VR as that doesnt work in VR yet.

Has anyone noticed that that Volvo DLC is not compatible with the Oculus SDK beta? When I am playing in VR, the DLC won't load as part of the game. However, when I switch to pancake mode (which I assume is an updated version), the DLC is in the game. This is for both ETS2 and ATS.

Am I doing something wrong or is this something that others are experiencing? (I've also noticed the UI is different when using the Oculus SDK beta - i.e. you can't log out of your profile - the only option is to quit the game).

The VR branch hasn't been updated yet to be compatible with the Volvo DLC. Be patient it will happen soon.

We’ve been pretty lucky lately that the last few updates have had the VR branch Get a same day release as the regular update. This was usually the norm before, waiting a few days for the VR branch to update.

As was said, be patient, or only one person working on this in his spare time.

I wasn't aware of that so thanks for pointing it out - now I know. I appreciate the work that goes into this and am more than happy to wait! :D

I had this happen in DCS when I got the G2 a week or so ago. I had to just turn the lights in the room on😅

The VR versions now support the Volvo Construction DLC. It was supposed to be in on the day of the launch however it was missing because of a configuration error.

This magic would need DLSS and an RTX. Maybe in the very distant future we will see this in that game

How exactly would RTX help with antialiasing...?
