Nyx88, 1.30 and Italy are working in VR. Make sure you select the correct beta branch and that you have -oculus set in your launch options.

A mistake i made when i first went to VR was i used a capital O.
What headset are you using? Which oculus software are you using?
as i said i did all of those things...please read my text :D. i read 5 google sites and looked some youtube vids and nothing helped

@Nyx88

Do you hear any sound from ETS2 at all, like from the intro movie?
One thing you might want to check: did you disable the 'use desktop game theatre...' option in the properties of the game (Steam > general properties tab of ETS2)?

Just to be sure as well: did edit any of the .cfg files of the game manually?

@Nyx88_

Try this: when you launch from Steam, choose the option DirectX 64bit. Somehow the update to 1.30 reset it to OpenGL I think, which doesn't work with the Rift. You may need to press F11 is you've toggled it before.

One of the things that I don't like with the VR beta version is that the pictures you take in Photo Mode look essentially doubled so the result picture looks weird and not exactly like you see it with the headset. The same thing can be said on the VR mirror mode, but it's less annoying.

@nyx88_ That's too bad to hear. I had the same issue with ETS2 1.30 whereas ATS 1.29 worked perfectly. Launching ETS2 with DIrectX 64bit (not regular 64bit) fixed it for me. I had the same symptoms: I could hear the game and with F11 I could play it too on my screen, but F11 again and in my Rift it's just showing the '...taking a long time to load...' message.

When you manage to get it working, please report back so that others who have the same issue can try as well. Thanks!

I did read your text you didn't say whether you had checked if you were using a capital O or not in the launch options, also you didn't say which version of the Oculus software you're using or which headset you're using.

Any chance the 1.30.1.19 changes that were released today would be brought over to the VR branch? I had been using a few map mods which became broken ever since the "Special Cargo DLC" update 2 days ago, and there's no way to roll back to the previous 1.30 version.. Thanks in advance for the development team.!

One question: Is it possible to bind the F11 key funktionality (reset VR) to another key e.g. steering wheel?
Please make it changeable :)
