That used to be my pasttime - when working for Auran/N3V Games a mate and myself would be racing around the Hunter Valley and northern NSW chasing and shooting trains (photo and video). The coalies were as booooring as, but sometimes you'd get some really interesting consists.

Used to get some odd looks shooting infrastructure and trackside scenery tho (and I think today I'd probably have a visit from the police). All up I shot about 6,000 images just between Wallangarra and Glen Innes - and I left N3V before the route came to completion.

Hi Jarrad, ;)

I've been looking at your pictures for a while now, and I want to ask something.
Why do a lot of 'Aussie' trucks have these huge bullbars? Only thing I can think of is to protect the truck against crossing animals? (as in BULLbar?)
