That's weird as those things can take huge loads. Maybe driving with load up then stopping too quick?

Yes. the bigger loads (like these ones) run;

Escort --> D.O.T Escort --> Truck --> 1 or 2 Rear Escorts

It always strikes me as odd to see an European manufacturer making long nose trucks. I just never expected it, until I saw them here on the forums. I associate them completely with the North American market.
