A little break in the green before going home.

[ external image ]

After work at home. This week is easy so I'm at home everyday.

[ external image ]

Paper mill, my 2nd tour for unloading today. Then quickly recharge and go back home.

[ external image ]

Thursday. Met a friend on the way to the weekend, you might remember, I painted the rims on this Scania.

[ external image ]

Clear everything. Bag, bottles and off to the car.

[ external image ]

Friday. My truck is in the workshop, I get new things. Now back home, and tomorrow I am booked again to paint the rims.

[ external image ]

Saturday. Today rims and wheel hubs were painted again. Again in classic blue and white.

[ external image ]

[ external image ]

[ external image ]

What do you say?

So in the evening I got my truck back from the workshop.
Which is an advantage here in the workshop that my key is kept in a night safe.
So I can pick up my truck at night and I am not bound by the opening hours.

[ external image ]

Why was my truck in the workshop?
I got the turn assistant installed. And my 5th Wheel was set further back (for the hose holder).

Nice safety addition to your truck! Looks far better than the corner eye. Can't wait for the hose holder

Many new Stuff is Coming

Load in Karsbach at a recycling company. It's a short detour, as many tours are currently being canceled.

[ external image ]

So when I arrived at the customer in Nuremberg, I have to wait until 7 a.m. for the wheel loader driver to come.
But at least be the first here, then the rest of the day will be very relaxed.

[ external image ]

45 minutes break, which is used to go for a walk and of course to take photos.

[ external image ]

So finally the time has come, my grill goes to the painter. During this time, I'll build in my colleague's grill because he's on vacation anyway.

[ external image ]

Today I went to a Spedition to look at a Scania V8 side panel and possibly buy it. By chance I met a friend there again.
His truck is a stunner.

[ external image ]

I bought the side panel.
How so? You will see that here soon. So check back often.

[ external image ]

This is such a quick lunch for me. A quick 5 minute terrine.

[ external image ]

This is one of my friend's trucks with the Scania 3 axles. Also a feast for the eyes.

[ external image ]

Today I put the grill back on my colleague's truck, who has now also brought around his 14-day vacation.
Do you know what that means?

[ external image ]

My grill is back from the painter. I'm so speechless, it just looks so awesome. And again,
I've come a step further to drive my dream truck.

[ external image ]

The next day, of course, caught the right weather. But no matter what the weather is, nobody can spoil my good mood.

[ external image ]

After work at home. More changes are planned for the weekend. I hope the weather fits.

[ external image ]

The weather was perfect. So:

- Painted steps.
- Wheel arch extension painted
- Steps painted in the side panel.

[ external image ]

[ external image ]

[ external image ]

[ external image ]

I hope you like the new design as much as I do, there will be more changes. As is well known, the journey is the goal. And you're never finished anyway.

All stay safe and sound. And as a friend who unfortunately passed away recently said:

Stay strong. (1975-2020) :(

My sincere condolences for your friend ,may his soul rest in peace.

Your DAF XF is really the best looking XF 106 I've seen, are you going to modify the Scania sideskirts to fit the DAF ?

Stay strong indeed, RIP

The black grille makes such a big difference ! It looks awesome, and so do the black details !

Next steps will probably include the headlights & skylights frames as well as the chrome "wave" on the sideskirt ?

Friday. Meet the moving floor gang. Wash nicely together and do nonsense.

[ external image ]

Glued my new sticker that I ordered. Well which are the new ones?

[ external image ]

[ external image ]

The next day there were some problems, I wanted to drive to the customer in the evening, but unfortunately there was a fire in the neighboring company at that time. But nobody wanted to let me through, because everyone thought I wanted to go to the company that burns, which was not true. So I finally got to my customer on dirt roads and was able to call it a day.

[ external image ]

[ external image ]

The next day I flew a long way over the A8 with this beautiful Volvo.

[ external image ]

[ external image ]

After work at my truck stop on the A73. My work colleague will be here soon, and then we will have something to eat.

[ external image ]

On the way to Karlsruhe, I will spend my weekend with a friend there. We want to pimp his truck a little.

[ external image ]

Dinner at the customer's. A pizza with minced meat and chicken sticks with cheese dip

[ external image ]

Unsettled. I am now waiting for my buddy and then it goes to him in the company. Here, of course, I am standing in the middle of Karlsruhe in the residential area.

[ external image ]

Trucks are ready. We then drove to a fallow site for a little photo session. I guess I took nice photos.
These trucks are used to drive tractors to Italy every week. Trailer with tandem and tridem

[ external image ]

New week new luck? Unfortunately, no. I really drive garbage once every six months, and right now they have to take out a complete cross beam for me.
In this case even with the welded holder. Now I have to go to the workshop to have everything fixed.

[ external image ]

Load paper again for Erfurt. Here you can see a slightly different loading point.

[ external image ]

On the way to Erfurt came into a bad weather front. Fortunately, I hit the exact center.

[ external image ]

On the way home yesterday I took another small photo for you.

[ external image ]

Today I read out all the trucks, this has to happen every 3 months at the latest. So it was time for us again, so I drove off all the trucks again.

[ external image ]

Have a GREAT Weekend.
