Hounddog's real-life trucking years....
Hounddog's real-life trucking years....
Want to share some pics from my trucking years..
Talking about long time ago...... I started on my 18th age,
only Saturdays ,because I was busy with nursing training, something I wanted to do also
Later on in my life 2000-2008 I was fulltime trucker and I have also some pics from that time to share..
Very young Hounddog

My uncle worked for this company and most of the drivers did not liked working on saterdays
and so I could earn some money on the weekends
[ external image ]
not the newest trucks ....this 112 h was at that time already over 10 years old
[ external image ]
We transported pigs / chickens manure,
and the farmers scattered that nice smelling manure over the fields

112 H 330 hp
[ external image ]
360 hp wow what a power (I have more pics of these 3 serie's ,but have to scan these photo's this weekend when I am home )

mobile phone....
mmmm yes ...... that was somewhere in 1991

This weekend I will scan more pics and continue the story
I must admit ,some pics and details I have forgotten since I had my stroke 3 years ago...
So sometimes the pictures are from my ride with my uncle,
and some of my adventures Saturday

Really nice photos Hounddog's, they remind me of the good old days. I went to Holland for so many times during the early 90's and these photos arise so many nice memories. Thank you very much for sharing them! I always loved the Dutch trucking Spirit, rather than the Style. Each truck seems unique, always clean and well maintained. Damn, I miss The Netherlands

Re: Hounddog's real-life trucking years....
@Arnook
if you mean the older 112 H ....thats for 2 reasons
1 more traction on the dirt road
2 almost or complete empty the trailer
The newer 113m dropped the middle axle automatic when loading ,if I remember correct with a full load I could not lift the middle axle
But that was never a problem because of the weight on the rear (powered) axle..
@ Ohaha lol yep it's me Billy
