Yes, I was heartbroken when I heard his alcohol addiction ultimately claimed his life Also, it was depressing to see how Alexi was slowly losing his ability to play his guitar solos properly on live shows due to being too drunk or from injuring his hands (to be fair though, most Bodom songs are hard/extremely hard to play on guitar)

Their lyrics were not always inspired imo, but the sheer atmosphere, guitar riffs and solos were doing it for me. RIP.
