Thank you very much for your kind words again.

Single shot today, a well made high quality model but a very bad mod. I hope we'll see that in a better shape in the future because she is so hot.
I like the new angry look except missing part on the front grill. It needs some Blender work :)

I totally agree. But rumours says that we have a great version very soon.

A mod must have some requirements for a better gameplay and to be called as a good mod.
Buying/pirating a 3D model and converting it to the game directly is not a good idea.

For example this truck model has about 2.5m polygons which is really unnecessary for this game. Even shadow models has crazy polygon count.
This means massive fps hit while driving this truck. So this is not modding, this is just converting. Well, some lazy, bad modding...
A sphere can have 1m polygon or 1k polygon. You can't see the difference. So why high poly? :) That's why SCS trucks takes more time to create, because they need to optimize it for the game.

Also it has some errors in the log, it don't have a proper interior. It's using parts, sounds from other mods without permission but it's still a payware mod.
And probably it's a Turbosquid model which is under Royalty Free License. It has a 199$ price tag. So if this mod author sells this mod to 3 users, then he must pay 3x199$ to Turbosquid. The think he/she does is also illegal.

That's why i said it's a bad mod. If it was a freeware mod then there was nothing to criticize.

I don't know who is the author of this truck but i hope it'll get better in the future anyway. We need the new Scania, it looks gorgeous :D

About bad mods. Like this Scania. You have seen a lot of shots of it in the screenshots threads, but almost everyone is then back to their old trucks. Because it's undriveable.

@ Aradeth and @MrCapital - thank you for the explanation! It makes sense to me now. Seems to echo what I read in another thread, that people are making beautiful models that can only be used for screenshots. Interesting.
