Billys road trips and Blender adventures
Hey there.
I decided to start a topic and share my screenshots here.
Short story about me: I'm playing and modding ETS and ATS for years now but mostly skins and texture editing since I had zero knowledge about Blender.
A few months ago I started to mess around with Blender. Mostly because of the lack of good mods for ATS or better said the selection of mods is just less in comparison to ETS.
I still consider myself as novice but at least I can implement most of my visions which I had for years without the dependency of other modders or their mods.
I want to share there some of my work and maybe learn something new from Blender experts in order to get better.
A little kind of "disclaimer": I have very little to no knowledge of proper 3d modeling. That's why I have to use given 3d models by SCS or even from other mods which are floating around the web or on my hard disk.
Because of this you will most likely see 3d assets from other modders or even by yourself if you are reading this.
But don't worry: my works will never be shared with the web. I'm modding mostly for my own enjoyment and to make my game better and more realistic.
That's one thing I wanted to clarify beforehand.
So let's start with the Krone Profliner HD which I started to rework recently.
Proper stickers added and I added mounting points for the Hella Double Burners.
And I added a proper license plate to the rearbumper which is a placeholder since it's just the plate I use for my trucks.

Since the variety of flatbed loads is still sparse (although better for sure than a while ago) I added some loads.

During a trip in France I discovered some boat props which I thought would be a nice flatbet load:

I'm pretty sure the added loads aren't secured properly. But modeling straps and chains as I would consider be right is far beyond my skill level.
So I took them from scs and edited them as good as I could.

After I'm almost happy with my Scania I put my hands on the Actros.
I reworked the whole interior. Don't mind the mismatched buttons. I need to fugire out why my anim.pmg is broken everytime with this model.

Moreover I reworked the exterior badges: better quality and painted badges.
