Self Setting Limiter.
Hello!
This idea is a self setting limiter.
When you turn on the limiter it is automatically set to 55MPH I thought maybe we could have a option to set it ourself.
Such as if I want the limiter at 65 MPH I can set it like that.
I think this is a good idea because you can set it to the speed limit of the country you are in.
Cheers.

Meh.. I usualy drive without speed limit but never over 90km/h, i just want it disable in case i'm in a convoy (multiplayer) and i've to reach peoples. I think you have just to follow the trucks road signs.

The limiter is decided by EU law not driver preference.
You can mod it if you really want to. But the default limiter in game is unlikely to change from EU law setting.

Re: Self Setting Limiter.
Currently if you'd like to edit the speed limiter speed you'd have to change it in game_data.sii. However, any higher than 56mph/90kmh would be illegal in real life and World of Trucks jobs would still keep the default limited speed.

Its not actually in the file itself, you have to add the line:
Code: Select all
truck_speed_limit: [speed]

Re: Self Setting Limiter.
Now I set
And driving on 80 mph in ATS. Where I'm wrong?
EDIT. I don't want increase speed limits for WOTr contracts, I want speedlimits smaller than game default.
ANOTHER EDIT.
My bad! All working perfect.
I don't set "Truck speed limit" in game play setting
Code: Select all
truck_speed_limit: 30 // 130 // 80 mph

Re: Self Setting Limiter.
I'd prefer it on 56 MPH though like real life.
