Simulation of Alcoholism

#1 Post by Tirol » 13 Nov 2017 20:36

How about a drunk mode?

That in the game the effects of alcohol (limited field of view, late reaction) are simulated.

That would be a deterrent against alcohol abuse. It would also bring a new level of difficulty into gameplay.

What do you think about this idea?

SCS' games are truck simulations, so it could give some people a misleading image of truckers, but it also could be an interesting experience

Such a function would be educationally valuable. It is a deterrent against alcohol abuse.

In addition, many truckers drink alcohol at the wheel in reality.

It's already proven very difficult for SCS to get licenses for trucks. Imagine how much more difficult that would be if the companies learnt there was drunk driving in the game as well...
Never argue with idiots. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

there is no educational sense behind it, does it have an educationally valuable in My Summer Car ? no

so why should it be educationally valuable in ATS/ETS2 except to make the game rated for adults and losing a huge amount of potential players?

I think there is not much left to ask from SCS so it goes into fantasies now.

We still need openable windows and exhaust smoke before that.

Shake your head over 2 minutes non-stop then start playing, here is your alcohol simulation.

I like to drink beer while playing computer games, but I can not drink so much that I'm totally drunk.

And yes, openable windows and exhaust smoke are interesting feature requests.
