Feature Suggestion: Truck Dash to use regional units (KM / Miles)

Background: I just delivered something to the UK, and decided to spend a bit more time over there to fill out the map. Driving with the "wrong" truck made this more difficult, so I bought a UK truck (ie, a truck with a UK cabin layout).
Good things: The speedo is in miles (in reality, most/all modern british vehicles have speedos showing both miles and km).
Bad things: GPS and Cruise Control are still showing in KM/H
It would be nice if the GPS and Cruise Control units would, by default, match the truck. (ie, UK truck, everything defaults to miles, Continental truck, everything defaults to KM).
It would be extra nice if they could be switched, per truck, to the other units. So if I take my UK truck to the Continent, I can switch the displays to KM, and vice versa. Extra-extra nice if it could do so automatically.
But since not everybody wants to switch units, the following new game settings should cater for every possible circumstance:
1. Global game option: Units.
3 settings : Automatic (use country-specific units), force KM, force Miles
2. Truck-specific option: Units for GPS / Cruise Control / Digital Speedo (obv. can't switch a physical speedo!)
3 settings : default (use whatever is set in Global Game Options), Automatic (use country-specific units), force KM, force Miles
Now I know I can go to game settings and change the units there, but I'd have to do so again every time I take a quick job. Not a game-breaker, but an unnecessary annoyance and a bit of an immersion-breaker.
