They look nice, but they are actually not that common nowadays. In theory they are used for rest areas without gas stations and other services, but there are very few of them in the Iberia DLC.

I see an example of where this sign is used in the game, it could be at León on the A-66.

But I still can't think of more examples that appear in the DLC. It's always good to have more IRL signs in the game, but I don't think their addition is very likely.
