DAF XF105 Simpit

#1 Post by mgysgtdev » 01 Apr 2020 20:34

Hi,

I create this topic to see some of the creations people have made for ETS2 and ATS. I am wondering how people play this game during the hard time nowadays. I'll show mine aswell.
So show your setups and maybe people will inspire other people to make something to have more fun playing this game. :D

Awesome setup! Is the wheel using force feedback?

Nice! my set up has a DAF influence as well although I mostly drive ATS.
Here is a link to some pics, I have tidied up the wheel center and added indicators since these photos.

Way short of your efforts but still very satisfying, I use a wide screen and track IR so don't need the three screens.
DO NOT BUY FROM CSIO TECHNOLOGIES
They'll take your payment immediately and not fulfill order.

@Raskil i usea direct drive wheel with FFB. direct drive wheels deliver more powerfull ffb than a regular wheel would. i've done this because a truck wheel weights allot. pro's are i use 1800 degrees of rotation instead of 900 degrees :)

@Fawls your setup looks very nice and user friendly though you have allot of needed buttons in reach :)

Dang. That is a set up and a half. I wish I had the room to do something like that.

I could always remove the bed, who needs sleep right?

Cool, I'm thinking about the same. Which DD Base are you using? How do you have it mounted sturdy with the 45° angle? Would love to hear from you.

i uploaded 2 videos on my youtube.

@CrazyGijs thnx, went allot of effort into making this and it isn't done yet ;)

@Raskil i use a simXperience DD base. the base is mounted below the pedals actually and there is a steering shaft that runs between the steering column and the DD base
